Hi
I was looking around some of the dustier corners of this forum the other day when I discovered the Str$() command now takes an extra parameter e.g. Str$(12.3456,2) now prints 12.34.
Very cool.
Apparently this change came about 4 or 5 years ago.

Looking at my printed manual (page 21), it doesn't have this so I was wondering if there is a list somewhere of all the commands that have been updated over the years?

I know the Set Display Mode command has been updated, but are there (m)any others?

Just wondered
Cheers

Each DBPro update has a change-list explaining exactly what is different.

LOL
Not quite what I had in mind - it's not exactly light reading but it does contain a lot of useful info.
Surprised I missed this.
Thanks

I guess he means the DBPro ring-bound manual that came with the original DBPro CD. I stopped using that some time ago because the Help file had everything I needed (more or less ).

Actually I sympathise with Adrian. I get caught out from time to time too. For example, I was recently caught out by a program containing a typo - I'd written sync onn instead of sync on. It compiled and it took me a while to realise why things weren't working as I expected - in fact someone had to point out the cause for me.

It's the spiral bound original one that came with the cd.
I even have the original Darkbasic Classic manual and cd too.

I have just found the receipt for DB Classic still in the cd case
If you are interested, I paid £39.99 for it, (with £2 off for a loyalty voucher) on 28/06/2001

I've been DB'ing for nearly 11 years. I really must complete a few projects.
