DarkBASIC Professional Discussion / install updates ??

Hello everybody, I have few questions:

I payed few days ago the bundle Darkbasic Studio Bonanza, with 49 usd. I installed physics, and most of all (I hope). I have next problems:

1. If I want to load for instance the USA human model, is black, no colors, even if I copied ALL files in my project (textures, etc)> i'd like to mention the fact at beginning, when i installed the Darkbasic professional without upgrades..the model was ok, WITH COLORS !!. What is missing?? I installed also 1.05 update for darkphysics...

2. I installed treemagik 3d, and if I make a tree, background of leafs is black !!!, not transparent !!! same problem like point 1???

3. Cant compile AI Start.....someone can tell what to do for that to work???

4. cant compile PHY start....same like point 3......

Please help !!

Have you installed the latest upgrade for DBP?

Have you got an up to date DirectX installation?

Have you accidentally changed your screen resolution to 16-bit, rather than 32-bit?

Are your graphics card drivers up to date?

Have you applied the license keys for DarkAI and Dark Physics?

I'm back...with a new question..

I have two updates for darkbasic physics, from 2008 and 2009, please help me and tell in which folder to copy??? I'm not a specialist and these are not with installs

I fixed most of problems, still remain one:

all I create in plantlife and treemagik, has the background of leafs BLACK. What is the problem??? an update, upgrade maybe from previous post?? I dont installed the darkbasic physics gdk from 2008 and 2009, donk know where to copy, (no install file)

That suggests that transparency isn't working. Is it just in DBP that it doesn't work? Have you set the correct alpha on your objects?

Hello my friend, thank you again, I fixed the problem, partially. I'm new with dbo, and dont know exactly which is the best transparency procent, I see at 25-50%, also the trunk become transparent, can you indicate how to do to have the trunk visible 100%??

Did you use SET OBJECT TRANSPARENCY command? The transparent modes go from 0 to 7. With few of them trunk is visible 100% so you'll have to try all of them to see which one you like the best

if your object has multiple limbs try setting the transparency for leaves only.
You can get the number of limbs with PERFORM CHECKLIST FOR OBJECT LIMBS command, and you can get the limb names (in case you need them) usign GET CHECKLIST VALUE A/B/C/D commands
