Am I only limited to make shooter games with this. I wanted to try to make a mini golf game, but don't know if I would be able to use this to make it?

You can make a wide range of shooter games - 1st person, 3rd person (by using scripting and/or a mod), adventure and RPG (again using a mod). Someone has even started to make a Mech type shooter on these forums.

Obviously there's a reason why its called First Person Shooter Creator.

As for Mini-Golf, I'm not sure FPSC would be capable of doing this.

IF you can code, you might want to try DB Pro, for making other types of games.

minigolf (not that extreme course) could be possible with the new 119-commands to alter player-push-power, but it depends on physics and collision, wich is not that good in fpsc. but maybe it works, using custom pipes and stuff. download free version and give it a try.

but to say: there are definitely better engines out there for these kind of games.
