Hello, I have a simple question; Can decals be entities that have FPE files associated with them.
If not, how would I have a decal appear, follow a path, dissappear or even damage a player that gets to close. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

sure they can.
probly need to dark shader something up and put it on a model of a plain, apply effect and give it a script.

I may be talkin out my butt but I can see it happening
