What is Realm Crafter? Another thread mentioned it and I am wondering if I need a program to add it to or is it a stand alone game maker.

Realm Crafter is a 3-D MMORPG Maker by TGC
It is a stand-alone game maker

Thank you. I am new to this and old to other things (71).
May I ask what MMORPG stands for? I keep thinking about Mixed Matrial Arts and I know that is not right.

Thank you again. Never too old to learn.
I will need to take a good look at that one as soon as I finish the other project I have going in the other thread.
Thanks again.

The EULA only permits one computer and one user. If you mess up and must download again you can only do that once every two months.
I found this out after I bought it.

Thats pretty stupid... oh well... just keep the installer handy then haha...

Umm a slight correction...

TGC did not MAKE RC... they are just reselling it just like the Leadwerks stuff...

However I could be mistaken...

But RC dows have its own website...

I'm a Realm Crafter Pro user. You WILL need programming skills to create a MMORPG. Primarily C# skills. You can create games like EQ2, Rift, and do I dare say it.....WoW. It DOES NOT create stand along games. ONLY MMO's. You need at least one server, massive bandwidth, etc. Server Clusters are more efficient though.

Bottom line is that it's NOT for the faint of heart or Newbie to game creating and will not create an FPS (first person shooter) like this gem will.

Some time ago, I have thought to buy this program (Realm Crafter), but I did not get any straight information if it could make a stand-alone games and fps games single player.

Therefore, your review on the Realm Crafter was very helpful to me because it clarified my doubts about that software, and it saved my money and a lot of frustrations as well.

Thank you so much.

Greetings,

Northern

Thanks for the information. I alreadyave downloaded and bought it so I have it on my computer but haven't done anything with it yet.
I am still trying to get FPSC working good for me.
I also have the DArk Basic Studio and the book for that one. I have managed to get a few things done with that one. Still learning.
If I could only learn to quit buying more.
Thanks again for the information.
