Anyone know what free plugins are out there I have a few, but found there seem to be more than I know about.

Is there a list of what is avaible or has anyone made a list?

Here are the links

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=38709&b=18

and

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=92836&b=5

I think the second one is just and updated version of the first, and with much more free plugins listed.

Now that I have a list I am working on an Plugin Index page to go in the help files, this will allow you to look up your plugin if you have it installed and then go to its main index page to find that command you know about but can't remember what it looks like.

However it looks like I am going to have install all of them first to find out were the main index for them are located, that should be fun(I think).

edit
here the list without any links to the plugins main index.

Just a tip but you can best work with CSS in your head or the very best way is to use an external CSS file. Also when you use the img attribute you need to give it an "alt" attribute otherwise the validator will give errors. And the are some other faults in it. The best validator there is, is this one http://validator.w3.org

EDIT: rewrote the entire code so it has no errors anymore (still has a lot but that because the website's don't exist and are whit space).

If you need help, I can help after Thursday, I got exam of webdesign then.

Well I was only using the one that came with DBPro IDE help index and modify that, as I don't think the old IDE could use what you have done above.(not tried)

The old IDE help file all end in htm and not html.

However I'm sure someone will find the above useful.

With my code, you can just put it on a website and the browsers(IE, firefox, chrome, opera, etc...) will be able to display it without errors. Like IanM did it for his plugin. http://www.matrix1.demon.co.uk/Matrix1Utils_Help/Matrix1Util_21_index.html
But for just replacing the ofline standard webpages which come with the IDE is your code good. Don't know how that reads out the pages to display it maybe it just uses your default webbrowser and then my code would still work

How about the front page you get when you open help, you could make it look like this one, or study the code and make your own.

I think most of the new products now have there help files in .chm
might be wrong, but even that can be converted with some patience and time to htm or html.

HowDo, you can ignore Green Ear as its been dropped by the original creators...

Well at least last I investigated it...

Those chm files are irritating... PDF would be nicer as they are cross platform and contain everything within a single file... and are localy and remotely viewable... and also feature a cearch function... CHM files are so restrictive... but somewhat handy but in essence more annoying than helpful... [like I would like to read it on a mobile device but... nope...]

EDIT

I smell the beginnings of a new project ^^

I think If I were to spend sometime I could make them all office html and then I could read them all on my phone, but seeing as my phone can't do DBPro seem no point.

I have personally gone though Dark AI and Cloth and a few others and converted there chm's to normal htmls, takes time, but if you like them like that then you'll spend your time doing it.

I was thinking PDF really...

but as I am learning HTML/5, CSS3, Javascript/jQuery, PHP, MySQL... etc I might as well make an Android app... and discuss it with TGC ^^

@howdo: as phones are limited compared to Pcs, the idea of writing apps within the phone isn't practical. if you're looking for making phone apps, I suggest AppGameKit as platform to go for. bear in mind that DBpro puts windows within your hands and window games are reached by millions as well you can make plenty of app other than games using DBpro. things that will take quiet long before phones reach this level.

@MrValentine: (sorry if I may understood you wrong) but creating phone apps for multiple platforms cannot be done using css or html as it is scripting languages which don't support multiple platform but each platform support such languages. if you want to go deep into those subjects you have to learn something about machine language and get SDK's that go below the CPU to pull information out. this can be found at Nvidia website. (am not gonna be much bothered about that as it's out of the spot for me.)

@basjak yup you misinterpreted XD

I want to create a searchable pocket reference app
kind of like a website, but portable so you can view it on a tablet if you do not have dual screens like me lol... and therefore making there no need for a web based version...

EDIT

and actually you can create Android APPs with HTML and Javascript + some

Tested it out with my page and indeed it doesn't recognize the CSS. So there is no layout.
I made a little test site with the plugins listed only for the first one "AVI-plugin" I already made a second page. Al other links won't work also not the standard ones.
EDIT: Took it back ofline. Attached a small screenshot of ofline page instead. Code snippet thing works.

1beginner1 I think you should consult TGC before putting that on the web...

also you might want to try NOTEPAD++ for HTML markup, though SYNERGY [the U7.7 IDE] does allow for structured markup...

I have a pic showing 11 broken links and also the fact some characters are being used which are not supported by the fonts selected...

I managed to import all erm circa 1250 pages into my web development environment however eugh... will be a daunting task editing them one by one ^^

huh?

I found NOTEPAD++ handy

I might try Visual Studio soon though as I like the super preview thing asi would love to have a live preview its handy while coding and seeing the result... but pricing and features are confusing I might just apply for DreamSpark...
