Hi all,

Years ago I used to love the BBS game "Legend of the Red Dragon". It was an RPG piss-take, great fun and highly addictive. I recently found a PHP version, played it, loved it and have installed a beta of it here on the TGC server for you all

This is just a test-run. Accounts may be deleted if I integrate the game with the user system of our site, but for now feel free to register and play to your hearts content it's bloody good fun!

Reached level 5 today. got a pitchfork, longjohns, and I'm ready for anything.

PS: Tip for those who need money, go slumming, often. More then likely you'll get a flawless victory, and you'll get an extra turn. Keep it up, and you'll never run out of turns

The pony/stallion (etc) will fight alongside you! So not only can you hit the foe, but your mount will do the same. Also if you have a mount you can visit the Dark Tavern in the forest.

The Buffs are just bonuses/items. Get a pony and it'll appear here.

Mouse: I thought you of all people would enjoy this game It's great fun once you get into it.

I suppose it should be fun... I do enjoy MMO aspects, text-based games, and RPGs. I can't quite place what I didn't like. Perhaps it was that I downloaded all the PHP and data files and fiddled with them for an hour trying to get them to run before lagmaster explained it was an online game I'll give it another try however. From what I've read here it does sound pretty fun .

I take it that the game doesn't like numbers in avatar names?
My 'las6' was turned to just 'las' which sounds stupid.
And now I'd have to play with another email addy to get a new account. agh.

EDIT: got those removed, but for some reason didn't receive email for the other account before I found a way to delete the old ones. So now there's one dummy account. eh.

lol... i keep most in the bank so i can get the most interest when they day turns over
3k in the bank gets around 300-400 interest

- at level 1 it costs nothing to be heal'd up
- also a Human/Orc seem to be harder to hit meaning they get alot more perfects (which results in ALOT more turns)
- and you only gain interest on your money if you are still living when the day ends.

your hit and movement bonus also comes from not being mystic... makes me double-y useless at battle because i'm an elf and mystic lol

however i've got some awesome moves at lvl7
