I am fairly new to this program and I am wondering how to go about making a 2nd level to my game. I see new arena but not new level is it the same thing? Also how do I link them together to make sure when the player finishes the 1st one it goes straight to the 2nd and so on?

make both the levels then in the build game area you need to just add the second map on the the program

Yes. Make sure you place a win zone in each level. Entering the win zone of level 1 loads up level 2 and so on. IF you enter the winzone in your last level it displays the 'you win' image.

So I am guessing that when it is time to make my 2nd level I use new arena?

No. Just save your 1st level and then click File -> New. That will create a blank level for you to work with.

New Arena will create multiplayer levels.

Hi Thraxas,

Long time no hear.

@OVWE, I have just downloaded a free video capture program. I thought I would give it a test and show you a video of how to build two levels. To build more than two levels just keep adding levels in the sequence you wish them to be played. There is no sound on this one. This has just been a first test for me. I uploaded it to youtube and here it is for your viewing. You need to look at it with at least 720p or 1080 if you can. That way you can go full screen.

CamStudio Recorder. It is not new but it is free. Doing this recording was easy. I hope it continues to be so. I need to try audio next.

I use FRAPS for game recording.
