When you're compiling, are you leaving the source code folder open on the Desktop?
If you are, the compiler can't properly remove a temp file it is creating for the .exe. Check to see if it's closed and not minimized. (By clicking the X in the upper right corner.)
Try to compile & run your program. I had this exact issue. I began opening my projects from inside the Editor (DBPro IDE) and it saved me many headaches.
If this doesn't solve the problem, copy and paste your project text into a New Project and SAVE...Shut down the editor and reopen it, loading in the newly created project you built.

Hope that helps.

There's a thin line between Genius and Insanity.
Which side are you on? (Or is it more likely that you're balancing precariously on that line and struggling not to fall one way or the other?)

according to results i read from google the exception code relates to access viloation, exception errors occur in 3 forms, fualts, traps and aborts, now your getting different results for which module likely based on the commands used(dbp only uses dlls that have at least 1 command from that dll), for example those last 2 are plugin dlls for dbp whereas the first 1 isnt. Everything Ive read points in all different directions the only common thing is that the error thrown back is because windows doesnt have a clue what the problem is, it could be software could be hardware, could be the app. Most common ones are drivers, compatibility mode and hardware compatibility. In your first post you said most programs crash - so some work and some dont? I assume this is just dbp - have you tried running games as its a new setup, to see if they throw back something similar?
Suggest you check your drivers and system software for now, cos this is beginning to look like an issue for "techheads" to look into, many of the forums i just checked out had responses with specific instructions to run certain apps to gain reports and discover where certain dump files land so the "techheads" can hunt down where the problem is, in which case you may have more luck on the geek culture board if noone responds succesfully to this post over next few days
sorry to have been not much help, Im sure someone smart will come along and help you resolve this.
*it will likely be helpful if you state your motherboard, psu and hardrive details*

Could you clarify one point? Is it a compiler problem or a runtime error? You can test this by doing a compile first and then running the exe. Use the relevant options from the compile menu.

That's interesting. What happens if you create a new project using the old code? The only difference should be the *.dbpro files created by the editor. Perhaps you could post an example of both, i.e. one from a project that works and one that doesn't.

On my project when i use `compile` and not `compile and run` option it gives the same error with SC_Collision.dll_unload, when i remove this plugin then it does the same but with ShaderData.dll_unload instead.

So far i saw only room demo that comes with dbp crash when i press escape key.

Now i also noticed that doom 3 runs on lowest level of quality due to integrated graphic chip, but then some of dbp demos that use vs 2.0/ps 2.0 good and some have errors in execution, could it be that this issue is connected to integrated graphic chip?
