That's the code I'm trying to use as the first line of the prgram. And I keep getting: "Could not determine parameter type of "Arial" 'at line 9."

I'm new to DarkBasic but even after everything I've looked at it's pretty straight forward and I can't see where there would be an issue. And yes I have checked the font installed.

try this



and compile, I had no issues, my guess is you have an old IDE, or something... try upgrading to U77

Thanks for the help. But that didn't fix the issue. However from what I can tell it was that I had a couple spaces at the end of the line. When I deleted the two spaces at the end of the line it worked just fine.

Ended up with an error a couple likes later setting text size. Same issue I had "SET TEXT SIZE 48 " after I took out the two spaces it was happy.

I seee, but it should be "48"
