Newcomers DBPro Corner / Do I need Dark GDK?

I am new to programming and am wondering if I need Dark GDK if I have Dark Basic Pro. ( I actually have the Dark Game Studio from around 2009.)

No, you don't. DBPro is standalone. Dark GDK is a set of libraries for C++ / .NET.
