I was reading another post earlier today suggesting Google SketchUp 8 as a way to render 3D structures like buildings so I douwnloaded it. Since I'm new to this part of DBP I have no idea how to export my rendered structures from Google SketchUp 8 into DBP. Anybody have any tips? Thanks for your time and wisdom in advance.

Well the export needs to be converted to dbo, or X. The easiest things to convert are... 3DS, X, Obj, Dbo. If you can export any of those you are Ok. But it is likely that you need a second program to convert from.

I believe there was a sketchup importer plugin for dbp which uses the native sketchup format.

Search the forum for it..
