Modeled it for my asteroids game.

2912 polys, 2312 of those is from the gun cylinders. So without the gun the ship is only 600 polys. Not that it matters its for a 2D game.

the barrels of the machine gun seems to have crazily many polygons compared to the rest of the model...

That's a nice ship. I like the design; it looks pretty original! Good job!

I wanted the cylinders to be smooth, so i added lots of polys. Since its for a 2D game, poly count isn't important. As for the rest of the ship, I just started with a box and started to extrude.

Looking at it now kinda reminds me of those yellow enemy ships in voltron
