Okay, so I watched PW Productions' rigging tutorial for fragmotion, and everything went totally smooth. Until I got into FPSC, that is. In fragmotion the model looks totally normal, anims play fine and it looks like it should work. In FPSC, the hands are fine, but the gun model is TOTALLY FLAT. I have no idea what happened, nor how to fix it. I thought it might be a texture problem or something to do with the effects, so I fiddled with those in the gunspec, but it didn't do anything. I'm certain something got lost in translation between fragmotion and FPSC, just not sure what. I'm sure this has happened to someone before, but I couldn't find anything on it...

Flat? ...screenshot? what where your export settings? Did you try exporting as .dbo?

I think it'll be a problem with the smoothing groups.

Insanity is doing the same thing everyday, same job, same route, same people and thinking 'Today will be different', thinking that over and over again. But not doing anything different.

This has happened too me before. How I solved it was I went back into fragmotion selected the group the gun is on and remove the bones its assigned to and than reassign it. It work for me so I hope it works for you.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention this earlier... kingofmk98's suggestion worked. I guess somehow I must have accidentally assigned the vertices of the weapon to multiple bones or something and it got all... ugly and flat. I just unassigned the vertices and re-did them properly and it's fixed now. Rigging new weapons to EAI's anims has inspired me to work on my own weapons and rigs. They're quite... not good right now, but I intend to put them on the TGC Store in FPSC when I'm satisfied with them.

Anyways, thanks for the help, guys!
