Hello,

Is it possible to create custom particle effects in Dark Basic Pro ?
How ?

Suppose I have downloaded some animated gif or png file from the internet containing a spectacular special effect like explosion , snow, lightning, rain, thunderstorm, motion trail etc.
Is it possible to use them in my game as particle effects ? If so, how ?

Thanks,

Are you using 2d or 3d?
If it's in 3d, try something like this:

edit: I think I might have misread your post, If you meant using the dbpro particle system, then I'm not sure if it's possible >.<

When it comes to particle effects it's just like everything else in DBP, you have to make it yourself

Particles are just brightly lit plains, and a few tweaks.
