Ok, so I'm working on a WW2 game to get me started and I recorded my voice using the standard windows recorder to use for the US Marines.

However, the sound zones refuse to play them, they play all of the default things but not mine. I also put them in the audiobank directory and still nothing.
Any suggestions? Should I have used something else to record?

Thanks, BICProduct

look for the settings of your waves, some are not working (22400hz i remember, choose 36, 44 or 48khz). i would recommend to use .ogg instead of .wav (AUDACITY is for free to edit and convert). it has a good compression and files get very small wich is good for performance and ram-use while building a game.

I've also found that voice recordings need to be Mono, rather than Stereo...
