I have spent months on a game that is finally complete. There is a massive release for it Monday. An exhibit and all with stations for people to play it. Big problem... for some reason the game does not work on any other machine but the game it was made on.

I even put FPSC on those computers and built a game to see if that was the issue. It wasn't.

Games i make from the original computer won't play on other computers. Even with the proper video card and directx version.

I am suppose to showcase this game monday at 11AM i only have 2 days to fix the issue.

I'm using the BETA 1.19 plus RPGMOD. Is this the issue?

Found solution. It has something to do with RPGMOD. I replaced the modded exe with the original and did a build and it works fine.

well, both used codes are betas. if you want to distribute something this big as you describe, you should wait to release until all the code is official if you cant code it on your own.
mostly betas are for testing, not for a release of something.

but good to see it now works for you. good luck.

Very true the BETA versions of each brought issues. I'm now working off of the official release of 1.19. Hopefully the RPG-MOD can be fixed i'd love to use that compass lol

Are you using the edmod version of RPGmod? Or an older version of RPGmod? There is an issue with dbConnect that I had to get rid of for RPGmod that Ched80 is using. There are some computers that don't like dbConnect and crashes. It would crash on my laptop as well. It took forever to figure out what the problem was.

BTW, I'm sure the official version of 1.19 does have a compass if that is all you are using RPG Mod for.

Flatlander is right - 119 has a compass.
