Is it possible to set up and use DarkGDK on USB thumbdrive?

How would this be done?

I need it for my c++ programming class, but my college do not have it on their computers.

Are you the teacher? I think you can just download it and leave it in its packed form, then transfer to the school pc's. Or, if the school pc's are on-line, you could just set them to download and install......

TGC might have an actual "for schools" product.

Wow! That's a tough one. You would have to get permission from the school to install it.... I don't think you can use it without an install. I hope someone has a solution for you.

DarkGDK is just a bunch of lib files, so all you'd have to do is install it to a portable hard drive and then set up the IDE on the school computers to include the DarkGDK headers and link the DarkGDK libraries. I've never come across something where DGDK had to be installed locally.

It can be a problem to set up and IDE in his class, because (from my experience) computers in schools often don't allow installing anything on them.
He probably'd need IDE "installed" on USB, so he'd run it from there.
