It's a horror game. Anyway, I have need of a couple of them so...does anyone know where I can find something like this?

Alright, nope, already had that. Just making a zombie/horror game. Need the hanging guy but so far no go. Using the free character mesh in blender (HARD WORK) and having trouble. Major props to you who can model in 3d, it's hard work.

If your using blender (which I don't use so not sure about this) you might be best to import one of the stock characters, which are already rigged and adjust the bones to suit rather than trying to move mesh parts around, which is what I assume you are doing, then simply export single frame.
There is sure to be one of the free 3d programs out there that you could use to do this.

Awesome! Its one of those threads.

Alright, got a copy of 3d studio Max from a friend taking a CGI course through college...yes a legal copy. Anyway I loaded it all up, make the image from .x (because 3dstudiomax will not load .x) into an obj file and it opened...then I realised the truth... I know sweet FA about 3d modelling. I tried to understand it through the manual and some Youtube clips and then I did the sensible thing for me which was remove 3ds max from my system before said system took a leap down the stairs. I'm scuppered. Just gonna give up on the idea but want to say thanks to everyone who tried to help, it was appreciated.

You seem to have jumped in at the 'deep' end of the pool by choosing 3dsMax to try modeling out.
I always recomend trying 'Milkshape' out as a great way to start low poly modeling simply because there are so many tutorials out there to help you on your way.

Check out the links which I have posted in the thread below for Milkshape info.

Alright, I have fragmotion and Milkshape, I have the thug model in milkshape but I can't seem to figure out how to move any of the bones or anything. I assume if I alter the bones then the model will alter too? I have foudn that I can traverse through the actions already supplied with the character, save any one action, delete the bones....And I am stuck there. LOL Have not the first Idea how to re-texture or even get the character (saved as an x file) back into fpsc.

I'm pretty sure the game creator store had some pretty good models by kravenwolf... Specifically the ones your looking for i believe. Id suggest looking there first before jumping into making models.

hey tokyomage , cheers mate, looked at the store and at what kravenwolf (whom is a great artist and I love his work) had, he has some cool stuff but not exacvtly what I'm looking for. He has a couple of bodybags that can be hung from something and he has a gallows with a hung body. What I need is a static entity of a figure (retextured thug to look zombie-fied) with a rope around his neck and that rope going up so it can be put near a lamp post as if someone hung the zombie as like a warning. But I suppose it could just be any dead body, doesn't have to be a zombie.
