I can't find anything on how to get the post effects in 1.19 to work. Is it a trigger zone thing? I tried that and nothing happened. Help please.

Thanks

Thank you, that worked!

Is there a way to make it only in a certain area (i.e. distance from player), like you don't want it to rain on the whole level, just in one area?

Thanks

ok in your fpsc folder is a manual!

there are the commands you look for! i can script for, but this is so simple, i am not want to do this

Edit: sry that im so harsh but why you dont use triggerzone to activate the shader and another(with none.fpi) to deactivate the shader

Yes, i´m a noob, but i like it

:state=0,plrwithinzone=1:setposteffect=gasmask,state=1
:state=1,plrwithinzone=0:setposteffect=none,state=0

maybe its working (wrong machine to test atm), but something like that as the mainscript of the triggerzone. size it as you wish to setup the area where the effect has to happen. but for your question, the posteffect is a fullscreen-shader, so yes, thís appears all over the screen, so no rainclouds at the horizont.

I actually made a script for an outdoor location that had an indoor area. It would rain outside but not indoors.

I could put something together for you and you can modify it and play with it?

What? Teabone you don't need a new script for that.
you just need two trigger zones and the update itself.
