@Ross tra damus: Did you make this pack?
Thanks for the notice about the sale.

I bought TGC's
FPS Creator Bonanza Sale last year, so I have most of the items already listed. I'll have to take a closer look though - I'm always looking for ways to save money, so I'll check and see if the sale is cost-effective in any way
@Nicholas Finney: I think you can, but it depends on what you mean. If you mean make the resolution of the textures (the images pasted onto 3D models) higher-quality, as in a higher pixel count, I'm not sure you can. You probably could, but I would thing it would take a lot of manual labor skill to accomplish that. Going from a smaller pixel size to a larger pixel size is no small task.
If you mean to just make the content look "better" and more realistic (as in just make things look nicer - metal looks shiny, computer screens and light bulbs glow, bumps, dents and divets stand out and appear in greater detail, etc) then yes, this can be done with relative ease, depending on your expectations. If you look in the X10 forums, look in the sticky that says something like "Check this link BEFORE you ask any questions" (something like that

) and look for an embedded link in the opening post that says "X10 Texturing Tutorials". Look around in that thread for a post by the thread's author that has a file (PDF) attached to it. It contains shader map creation tutorials for a variety of image editors (like Photoshop). It's easy to follow and fun to experiment with. Maybe I'm throwing too much at you right now. But I hope that answers your question
BTW, since you're a "noob"

check my forum profile (lower left-hand corner of this post) and search for threads created by me (there's a button for it, I think) I have a thread I created where I asked all sorts of questions about how to make custom media. The questions were answered by veteran modelers in detail, and has helped me a lot. Be fore-warned - it's over 100 posts. But I think you'll find it worth it.
