I bought FPS Creator X9 sometime early 2011, and started working with when 1.17 was released. I now have version 1.19, and I just started using the segment editor for FPS Creator. When I made my first segment about an hour ago, I was going to test it out like anybody else would do.

I tested it out, put up a test game and started to play it. The first thing the struck me as odd was the fact that when I clicked the esc button to get out of the test game mode, a pause menu came up, giving me the option the exit the game, resume the game, load or save the game. I clicked exit game and took it as nothing. But that's when I noticed something.

The title bar for FPSC said "FPS Creator Free". I restarted the application multiple times, and there was no change.

I find this strange considering that I installed the program through a disk, so I don't understand why it says FPS Creator Free, when I had never installed FPS Creator Free on my computer in the first place.

So, is there a way to fix this? Perhaps by reinstalling the program? I would really love to know the answer. And thanks to whomever helps.

I've had that first glitch a couple times, never seemed to bother me as it doesn't prevent or hinder anything.

In regards to the "FPS Creator Free" problem, that's been discussed and is a known bug with 1.19. To fix it you simply open up My Computer and go C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator (obviously if you use a different drive letter than C, open that instead).

Once you've gotten to the FPS Creator folder, look for a file named "userdetails", open it and paste or type your serial number where it says "YourSerialCode". Save and close that file, then open the FPS Creator program back up and it should now be the non-free version.

updating fpsc causes a reset of the editor, sometimes back to free.

Thank you. I copy and pasted my serial code and it worked perfectly!
