Hello All,

If this is your first time on the forums and you are a proud new owner of FPS Creator. Let me first say Welcome to the addiction. Second let me give you some of the best advice I can give you.

If your looking for answers to things like how do I do this or make the character do that. Scroll to the bottom of this page and use the search function. Though the forum search feature leaves a little to be desired, it was never intended to be the next Google. That being said, if you try different key words in the search you will more than likely find what your looking for. For example I recently was trying to find out how to play a sound when x happens. I searched things like: sound, play sound,play, trigger sound, play sound when this happens it took a while but I found my answer. Also Check out the community guide. It's loaded with info and a good portion of the time you'll find the answer there.

If you still can't find your answer. When you post your question.
Let us know that you have tried searching it out but still couldn't find your answer. Let us know what you've tried. If it's a code your trying to get to work. Show us the code you've tried.

One last thing be respectful of everyone on here, We are here because we enjoy making video games, some of us enjoy helping beginers. But none of us want to help you if your a jerk.
There is more knowledge on this forum than any one person could absorb. So what I guess Iam trying to say is don't bite the hand that feeds you.

One last thing if your on the forums and you see a posted question that you can answer. Answer it and give back a little.

Please add to this if you have anything. I know alot of this is in the introduction sticky but I don't think a lot of people read it.

No sure why the official community guide isn't a sticky. It really should be.
