Hey Guys!
Since I am kind of a new member, I was wondering if I can find an online tutorial or guide on how I can properly use FPI scripting in FPS Creator.

I am currently trying to make an indie game of my own, but I would really like to make the game appeal to my friends, and to do that, I must learn how to properly code in FPI.

the only thing I know is:
Colons are IF statements followed by conditions and actions.

manual and community-guide in your fpsc docs-folder. "general script information", a sticky at the top of the scripts-subforum. also ched80s complete systax script list, also sticky. then you have the basics and can start creating sick things.

Thanks for the help dude!

BTW I know you may not seem interested in this, but I am developing a horror-puzzle-shooter game. Like Dead Space, Portal and Call of Duty rolled into one.

sounds not that bad^^ if you wanna do a puzzle-game, look for the best modelpack out there, mp54. loads of cool puzzle-stuff to start with and get inspirations in scripting and how to do:

also there are some for-free packs/scripts/models in the subforums, use forum-search to find.

I was also thinking something along the same lines, but also a lot more elaborate puzzles. Such as putting weighted objects on platforms in order to make doors open. Opening valves to decrease water levels or even traversing through a fully submerged level.
