I just watched another episode of the Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) and the Diehard Episode really caught my eye. Most people say to get their game ideas from early games as games from today are rather complex and impossible to achieve using FPSCX9. I'm probably not going to remake the game but i'm going to take a lot of the gameplay and story(as small as it is) and expand on it. But what really decides this is if the community thinks this is a good idea.
Yes or No? You Decide!

EDIT: oh, and i'll for sure leave out the Twin Towers from the start and cover :3

I love Die Hard! Don't know about that particular game but the one about Nakatomi plaza (I forget which system I played it on) they had some really good features, like using an enemy for a human shield.
I bet with a little scripting it could be done in FPSC.
I wouldn't mind seeing another one.
