good day

when are you guys going to create a third person shooter. fpsc is old stuff. third person will get the highest rates.
the fpsc is ok but very dry and slow weak software development in 2012. theres alot of money to be made here with a third person shooter.

You can already do a third-person game with FPSC.

Why wait for TGC to do it for you? There are literally thousands of free compilers out there, including Dark Basic Professional. Go get one and start making your own TPS Creator. Then, if it's good enough, we can all buy it from you and you can make all that money you say TGC is leaving on the table.

Sorry but your post leads me to believe you haven't the slightest idea what it takes to create a professional game with ANY engine. Feel free to point me to an actual published game you've written and I'll gladly take it back.

It compiled! Ship it!

atm. you develop an AAA-title: 2-3 years, new highest rates because everyone is bored about 3rd person in the meanwhile as after tombraider part892 years ago. same as for nazi-zombie-shooters actual after 2 years of endless zombiehordes, 3rd person or not. tell me WHY third person is so popular atm. i can tell you out of human psyche for character identification and storytelling... its simply the easiest way to force those feelings, 1st person is much more difficult, so the big publishers going into 3rd person, only for fast selling. this focus is not made by the audience, its simply easier for the studios. only blingbling... and you got trapped.

I don't think one genre is more popular (in general) than any other. What one person plays does not mean everything else is terrible.

im with anigma
tho i have absoulutly no clue how to make my own game without fpsc
i just dont have the time or patience, ive tryd but i just dont understand it, but you cant just expect you gotta make it yourself or search the forums and fpsc has its faults but its a great software in my opinion
and saying fpsc is " old stuff and very dry and slow weak software" is an insult to the accuall people that made the software
theyr doing a great job keeping the software up to date and adding new features. be respectful to the people that can make what you appearently cant

computer specs: ASUS,Win7 x64, AMD Phenom II X6 1035T Processor, ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series, 2600 Mhz, 6 Cores, 6 Logical Processors, 8 Gig RAM, 1 Terabyte Memory, I am a happy child
