Hi, guys

I need to know if 4 zombies in the demo runs above 30 fps on a netbook. If it does can you increase the zombie count and see if it gets anything higher.

Here is the link to the Zombie Test Demo.

No, he actually means Netbook. Darkvee and I are working on this game.
So, if possible, could this be tested on Netbooks? Thanks.

Cheers

Hi guys

Thanks for the help. It seems to work great on none netbooks.
Man WickedX I wished it ran better than that. Can you try this new test demo for me?

I have made a new test demo.zip. It has a lower poly zombie model in it. Tell me what fps you get with 4 zombies. If it's above 30 fps keep increasing the zombies. Here is the zip http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6138533/NewTestRoomBenchmark.zip

Unzip it and run Import.exe.
Thanks guys

Chafari, what are the specs of your notebook? I get roughly the same as WickedX (nice choice of netbook btw) on my netbook.

How are you getting 90-100 fps on your netbook! If that's the case, mine is seriously outdated. If you run a 'dxdiag' how much video memory does your intel graphics card have?

Laptop:
Dell Inspiron N7110
2.3GHz Intel Core i5-2410M
6GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce GT 525M
Windows 7

Zombies: 4
FPS: 447
Polygons: 17822

Zombies: 15
FPS: 165
Polygons: 66420

Custom Desktop:
3.2Ghz AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
16GB DDR3
GeForce GTX 460 (SLI)
GeForce GTX 460 (SLI)
Windows 7

Zombies: 4
FPS: 440
Polygons: 17822

Zombies: 15
FPS: 157
Polygons: 66420

Specs are a bit high for a netbook, but hope it helps. Also it's funny how the overpowering desktop is outclassed by the laptop in this comparison.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your time and testing this out for me guys. I have made a new version demo. I have added a new system that only sees objects if their in the camera's field of view and added sparky's collison system to it. I took my homemade collision system out. I think it was slowing it down some.

This should give a lot more performance in fps.
here is the test demo

Let me know what you get. Thanks

I have run dxdiag and I'm not sure...I think 128 Mb of grafic card. Here you can see the model....it is three years old
