They are a cinch to make. I'm surprised that anyone would ask for them.

@Pincho Paxton - I searched everywhere for a broken one. I also couldn't find a horror, grudge, or asylum style one. If they are a cinch to make why not take the job?

I am working on a 6 month project already, so I would charge for time loss, which would be £20 (plus you would have to pay me in advance), and that's a bit steep for something so easy. If I were you, I would just learn to make them instead.

@Pincho Paxton - Yeah, but i'm no modeler. I'll find someone to make them for me. Thanks anyways

The first thing I ever modelled was more difficult than these. So you would have the skills in 5 minutes. The most difficult part is Photoshop for grunge.

I'd bring that the other way around..
and put it: the hardest part is th eUVmapping, and the photoshopping is really the fun/easy part
and modelling is the middleguy

thats my opinion. I would definitly either start hiring someone full time, if for a project, or just learn it myself

Well I use Lithunwrap for UV mapping so it is automatic. And in Anim8or your first model is a plant, which is a in the tutorial, a bit harder than a light. Takes 5 minutes.

You just click Box, Planar, cylinder, or sphere, and it's done.

Which is the same for every program, I must ask though, how well does that work for complex stuff? As in, any more complex than a clinder, plane, sphere or a box?

I actually found a model in a model pack. I do still need a broken version of it and several different variations of textures.

Here is the UV texture map:

Could someone do a grudge texture for me?

Thanks

Is the model from a commercial pack? (as in do you pay money for it?)

If not: then put a link to it, that uvmap aint going to cut it

look on the game creator store(it's the little shopping trolly button on the DBPro IDE.)

search for light.

there are lots of working and broken lights which match your request.

they cost about 50 tgc points. you can get 500 tgc points for 5 bucks.

check it out.

@Kezzla - Already been on there. Need one that is a little higher quality with a higher polycount and different texture.

If you want control over your UV Maps and to get useful UV Mapping tools, Hexagon 2.5 comes with a decent UVMapper. Hexagon is still available for free. I would recommend it as you do have full control.

Here is a basic UVMapping tutorial I wrote for it:

http://seppukuarts.wordpress.com/2012/04/28/hexagon-basics-the-uvmapper/

That one only really goes through its auto-UV mapper. However, this 3D tutorial includes auto-UVMapping BUT shows you how you can then customise the UV Map for the best results in the UV editor.

http://seppukuarts.wordpress.com/2012/04/28/hexagon-basics-first-model/

Then there is a more complicated method, which is useful for UV Mapping characters, especially heads, but I've not written a Hexagon tutorial for it yet, but if you learn how the Unwrap mode works all you need to do is imitate what I did in this video tutorial:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCGq6QtIYJo (Sadly this was done with the trial of this program, I would love a copy of the full version )

Interestingly, the only video tutorial I've written, I should attempt more - though I sound really camp in that video.
I use the same method in Hexagon, so it should work. Hexagon has a couple of extra options, so you might have to fiddle around with them (such as Projection Axis (X, Y or Z)) to get the best result. In some cases you may have to jump into the UV editor and make your own adjustments.

Generally with a UV Map you'll want the faces you want to pain on exposed and in a fashion where they do not over lap and in a layout where you can see where you're painting and the resolution is fairly consistent on the faces.

I used to find Lithunwrap was able to do what I wanted with tweaking, but the awesome thing with Hexagon's UV Mapper is you've got more options and more control and of course some more conveniences (like selecting edges/faces/points in your 3D window)

@Seppuku Arts - Thanks Seppuku Arts. Great tutorial. I'm not really all that great with graphics or modeling. Tried it but I fail so that is why I'll have someone else give it a shot.

Thanks,

@Everyone - I am actually going to try an model the lights myself. I'll just add a random grudge texture instead of UV mapping it. It won't be the best but it should be good enough for my game.
