whats up.

im building a new 3rd person shooter game
but im not a very gifted 3d modeler and i could use some help.

i need a 3d model of a wooden barrel that will be spread across the game's world.

for now i use a decent model i created but its not the right one for the game.
everything is still in prototyping stage.

if anyone would like to help it will be extremly appriceated

Just put it into a modeling program or a converter and convert it to DirectX format... Not too hard.

yeah , ty for your help.
i found some nice models on google warehouse
and can export them into 3ds from there opening blender importing the 3ds and exporting it to x file. ty for the suggestion and help.

however , you can play my game a download link is attached in the game forum post so if anyone like , try to model something that will look good and feel real according to the game atmoshphere , will be really cool to see new models .

OK, here is a new crate that can work as a wall. There are two colours for textures, you can easily change the colours.

hi!
i made a little barrel for you.. not entirely happy with the texture, but I tried to keep it somewhat in line with your previous graphics instead of using photographs as a basis! (you might want to scale it down from 1024*1024, though^^)
use it if you want and/or change it any way you like!
Very intrigued by your game btw and looking forward to the next versions!
