youll need a modeling software to do so, and that exports in DirectX or .X format, or if it doesnt export in .X you can find a file converter or use another modleing program to import your model and export it to .X

programs i know of are:

Milkshape 3D(or somthing like that)-costs money tho with free trial for 30 days i beleive

AutoDesk 3DS Max- cost extreme amounts of money ($1000+) with free 30 day trial or if you sign up for the student version its free

Fragmotion- simple to use, free full licence for 7 days when you type in a quote(you can repeat it as long as you like, if not it would be $50)

thats all i can think of off the top of my head

computer specs: ASUS,Win7 x64, AMD Phenom II X6 1035T Processor, ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series, 2600 Mhz, 6 Cores, 6 Logical Processors, 8 Gig RAM, 1 Terabyte Memory, I am a happy child

Hello Cloud Erebyte

Why don't you try Blender.

Blender is free, you only need to convert the .3DS file to .X format.

There are a lot of good tutorials that shows what you can do with
this great program.

You can get the latest version here.

http://www.blender.org/download/get-blender

Good luck with modeling.

cheers Ron.

go to joe's page.

i use fragmotion. Fragmotion is worth the 50 bucks. if you like it you should buy it. don't use the cheat code.

P.S.

let me know if the tutorials are helpful.
