How do you import stuff in to FPSC?

I've mapped out my own house in CS4 but can't get in to FPSC?

you need to export the mesh as .x-file with uv-mapped texture as .dds and build a fpe-file for entities (or alter a copied one) so fpsc can handle both mesh and texture. look into models&media subforum, maybe there are tutorials for CS4>fpsc, but you will find help there definitely.

Sorry been extremely ill...

It's just the standard textures from CS4, it was a test of scale more than anything.

And a little confused as to why it's supplied but not really compatible without a major faff. Was expecting to built, export, import, done.. But like everything I've bought so far on TGC it's not been what I was expecting.

Are there any collision detection issues with doing this versus building levels using segments? Does any special setup or preparation have to be done for collision detection?

Also, are there any disadvantages or advantages to using this method versus segments with regards to game performance?

By the way Cartography Shop used to be free on the TGC website, but it's no longer listed from what I can tell. Is there a current download link for it?

I have attached the free copy of CS4 that I downloaded from the website years ago. I don't know if that was the last/latest version though. Does anyone know?

I'd suggest taking the link down. Redistributing, even free software and with good intent, is more than likely against the license.
