Hi
I'm making progress and learning new things every day. Agk is my new friend.

I'm now currently trying to get into joints and thought I should try to make a chain/rope with the first sprite/joint being a static sprite and the rest of the sprites/joints dynamic - to simulate the rope falling to the ground and hanging after the first sprite.

So heres my question...
what kind of joint do you think is best for this kind of simulation?

Revolute, without a doubt. I did the rope for the balloons in Cannonball by connecting only 6 sprites by revolute joints.

Thanks, not working on it at the moment though as I have some other jobs to finish first. Itching to finish it at some point though!

Thanks again BaxSlash.
Could I just ask another question...

I've connected one sprite to a static one with a Revolute joint. What commands do I use to make the rope joints fall faster and stop swinging to long...
In the basic physics setup without setting any gravity or mass values it moves, swings and falls to slow...

The only command you should need to edit for that would be setPhysicsScale() but use it BEFORE any sprite creation starts.

Yep! That did it Baxslash. Thanks a thousand - yet again.

I hope I get as good as you in the future!
Cannonball looks really promising. May I wish for some cake splatting as an addition? (I like the sound) And maybe a huge hollow soap bubble sphere you can send the cannonball man through and make him float inside the bubble before you pop it?

Nice ideas

I'll try to remember them when I get back to this project.
