Hi guys,
Some of you may already know this, but TGC only removed X10 from the store because they ran out of stock. Lee himself has stated that there are two things that TGC is thinking about doing with X10.

1: Make a downloadable version
2: Strip out media and make a model pack for X9

Also, I asked Lee if I could make a small release of X10's compiled binaries as an X9 mod, but he said not to, he said that TGC may have more plans for X10 in the future, this means, that X10 may not stay dead.

Post a reply to this thread stating what you want TGC to do. Option 1, option 2, or both.

Definitely would prefer them to make a downloadable version. That way, people could have the models as well and then just copy them to x9 without the need of an MP.

I personally like the model pack idea. It seems like it will ensure that the models would be compatible with x9, rather than copying the models over and hoping they will work, or having to convert/change them to work with x9.

I personally think X9 users should be able to use X10 like X10 users got X9 free ( Should only be fair ) Not trying to complain sorry.

see atached file. i dont think x10 should be free everyone had the chance to purchase it why do you think it was discontinued,
i think it should be made downloadable at a discount price, but not
free, @ firelord i just done clean install and update is still working but a seperate file would be handy to have, i think lee should wait to see what budo can do with x10 before he finaly decides what to do .

I think fpsc x10 need to stay dead. Lee should move on to fpsc x11. Direct x11 has Tessellation which can improve graphic in many ways. combine all the features from fpsc x9 and fpscx10 into fpscx11.

@ micheal x i agree with the x11 bit, but until then i am staying x10

@ greendixy,
tell you what give me the money i paid for x 10 and i will send you it for free. also learn of the history, i bought x9 and then i bought x10 like so many, then tgc were split between updates and decided only one they had time for,( before that it was going to be a migration of x9 and x 10 together)anyway at that point most were x9 and not everyone had decent graphics cards. so x10 lost support after we spent our money. but we accepted it. and so x9 still carries on and tgc were kind enough not to let us be dead ducks, so gave us all x9 for free.

as to getting x10 well if you craved it why did you not buy it? and if as so many think it is rubbish why would you want it?

but i will take it as you were in the dark of the history of the x9 x10 debates. if it went free i would not moan, not now anyway.

i feel i have got my moneys worth 50 x over. just wish we had the same extras that x9 has. but was not meant to be.

anyway i will shut as dont want a flame war or anything.

an unquenchable thirst for knowledge of game creation!!!

I'd be interested in a model pack with the X10 stock media.
I'm somewhat glad to see it isn't totally dead.

Insanity is doing the same thing everyday, same job, same route, same people and thinking 'Today will be different', thinking that over and over again. But not doing anything different.

It had model pack 7 in it, and a few new rooms, and a weapon I think.

Just been chatting to my neighbours teenage daughter and it turns out she's big into UFOs and aliens.

Which is cool because tomorrow she's getting abducted.

I don't think that TGC are planning to create a new fpsc.

what you have to remeber that x10 content was exclusive
and if someone had spent 2 years designing a game using the
media that was exclusive to x10 would that be legal or moraly right
just a thought to all the people who botherd to purchase x10.
and people are still developing games even though not much is posted on the x10 boards mystyc mod is still being developed as far as i know, so mabie ask lee to start selling x10 as a download
or something not just expect to get it for nothing,

hi everybody.I think it's better to make a downloadable version.
why did tgc almost cancel the fps creator x10 project.i think it was better than the older fps creator.I wish tgc change their mind and cancel the fps creator x9 project and work on fps creator x10.
