Do you have a sample website?

He also seems to forget that nearly everyone here is a programmer and knows a thing or two about making a website...

Let's not forget this is the guy that posted a while ago and was "starting up his own snow boarding store on cafe press".

This has been done so many times before, and it will be done so many times again.

These kinds of posts just have so many problems...

bloody hell thats expensive,
what do you offer? just a website using a html template?

that's a similar price to how much i'd charge for most php scripts.
if someone doesnt know how to make a good website, why not just head over to templatemonster.com and buy a GREAT looking template for 50 bucks?

even if a programmer can't design their own website (well, if they cant, they dont really deserve their own website), they could still easily learn. i'm shure if they can learn darkbasic that they could learn html

my advice to you would be to target a different forum

JFlex Productions, I'm sick and tired of seeing your posts in the team requests saying your a professional, the general talk section about game review sites, and now web design?

This needs to stop.

@JFlex

For people to pay $120 for a web design service, they would at least expect professional sample sites, a comprehensive list of the technologies that the designer can use (eg: Flash, Javascript, PHP, MySQL). Web designers usually have partnerships with hosting companies as well.

$120 A POP!!!!!!

Thats an outrage.

Considering we are your "fellow Dark Basic friends" it should be free. I personaly dont see the point of charging.

Well, there's this thing called food, and you generally need it to stay alive, and it costs money .

Agreed that this is utterly ridiculous. I'm utterly sick and tired of posts like this.

Lol, true, but it all goes back to that point about him showing no evidence that he's remotely capable of such an offer. Not to mention, him not responding to defend himself doesn't help. No doubt he's read this. Heck, he could even be reading this. In fact, if he is, my suggestion: get a new forum name and start over PROPERLY.
