Just stumbled across some interesting engine at www.radishworks.com and it seems like a great little program, had a check of the trial and it runs like a dream at the moment , some nice features , I don't think it uses BSP, I assume it's got a different culling technique but it runs superbly . It uses LISP or C/C++ programming so it might not appeal to basic fans . It's got splended animation features and every texturing/alpha/mip-mapping option you'd ever want under the sun .

I think I love it. I'm planning on looking at it really closely. It's got a sort of library API that will allow you to write your own plug-ins and code in C++ to access the scene and create your own custom modifications. Has tutorials and a massive help file with most of the features well documented.

Many good things come in small packages
