Greetings Everyone! Long time no...speak!

Thought I would revisit my old game-dev stomping ground to see what has changed, and truth be told, I now feel like a small fish in a very big pond!. As my third year of university draws to a close, and with 3 months of summer approaching, I feel the urge to start a summer project to keep my amused when I'm not working. However, the standard of work here has gone through the roof, and I'm not sure I'm willing to publicly humiliate myself with my work. Therefore, if someone could give me the lowdown on what has been added/changed in the latest version of FPSC, it would be of great help!.

Nice to be back

Welcome back CoZ v1.19 saw the addition of lots of new scripting features such as camera commands and so on. Scene Commander is now working on fixing some FPSCs core issues for v1.20. Aside from that, not much has changed.

Hey nice to see you back.

Lots of new goodies to play with.
Ability to switsh full screen shaders thru script in game live.

A host of new gunspec commands

Radar and compass

Player camera controls, making third person capable in vanilla FPSC

More entity and player conditions and actions

Culling

Per polygon hit detection.

Limb scaling

There is almost to much to list anymore. I am sure I have missed some.

the addendum for the last release has a great listing. All the conditions and actions have been updated to 119.9 in EditPadFPI, Ched80 has done an excellent PDF on most of the new action and commands

And now we await your magic.

Welcome back.

Insanity is doing the same thing everyday, same job, same route, same people and thinking 'Today will be different', thinking that over and over again. But not doing anything different.

welcome back

I can relate to the bewildered part, because there are so many new scripting commands.
It's like starting over from day 3 or something.

Welcome back CoZ
I don't think I was around before you left, but I've seen a lot of your shaders, and boy, are they impressive. As for what's been added, a LOAD of stuff, I recommend you check Ched80's script syntax list for script commands, and there are now postprocessing fullscreen-shaders, like bloom and depth-of-field and there are now light-ray effects too. There have also been a whole range of performance improvements. Heck, I even ported over CorVus mod to the latest source.
