Last night I downloaded the 90 day trial version of DBPro for the alienware compo. First I removed the previous trial version that ran out months ago. It installed fine, but when I ran it, it said Trial Version - 25 days remaining. What the hell's that all about?

There's probably an entry in your registry that is saying you only have 25 days left, have a bit of a look through it (to open it up, go to Run >> regedit and you can have a look for it there.

BUT! Be carefull, don't edit anythign that you don't know what it is, cos you could really cause some damage just messing about (i learnt that the hard way)..

Hope I Helped...

No, the alienware trial expires when the contest does. If you download it on the last day of the contest you will have only 1 day to try it out.

It probably is looking at the previous registry entry - no idea where it is though.

hkey_local_machine/software/microsoft/MSPBD Delete the key. The day counter will be on 90 (or 30 in the 30 day demo)
