I have been attempting to write a scrolling game, however it seems neither sprites or pasted images can be clipped to screen edges !

I hope I am wrong, but what would be the point in having a sprite if it just disappeared when near edge of screen? Set sprite isn't much help either.

Any way to have a sprite or pasted image clipped to screen edges?

It clips alright, here's an example.

Thanks so much for that, it does clip

I was forgetting that in a scroller the screen needs display one more character block than usual,due to the scroll,-made it look exactly like the pasted images were not clipped at sides!

So relieved to know it is my fault, ty again
