Hello, I have been working on a cool PC game for a while now and for anyone who has worked with steam... well how does the process work with putting a game on steam? I guess I could just e-mail them but I figured I would ask here first (since I thought there were some dbpro games on steam), thank you a lot!! cheers.

Yea I remember that! I wish he or she would Post something on What that person had to go through just to get the game on steam. THat would help me a lot!

When I think about it if I do get a game on steam, I will write a guide on what you do to get your game on steam for the tgc community.

You might check out: http://www.steampowered.com/steamworks/FAQ.php and https://partner.steamgames.com/ and here is the submission form: http://www.steampowered.com/steamworks/title-submission.php

I don't think it necessarily matters what you program the game in, as long as you follow the guidelines for publishing. There is a lot of info on the above pages you might look into.

Thanks for your post zeroSlave, and thanks for asking the question Sovr; this is a useful reminder for me.

It seems that so as long as you can prove your game to be a good seller, or that it has the potential to be an interesting unique idea; you have better chances. Obviously it is up to them what 'unique' and 'interesting' is, so taking a look at there current titles will be helpful to determine what to aim for, then you gotta make it unique.
