No doubt some of you will have noticed Raven's signature, ''You've got to evolve to survive, this time Van will not escape his fate''.

What do you reckon my fate is? - apart from being featured in Ravens first spelling error-free signature .

I would have commented way before this but I wasn't certain if it was really you or not and didn't want to start a flamewar.

The thing that particularly scares me about that idea is the 'to survive you most evolve' line. I wonder if that refers to Van or Raven in that context

I doubt there are anyone who remember the exact refference, although it is translated as it hasn't hit our shores (yet)

it was a damn quality moment when Raven sat across from Rease at the camp fire... the starts sparkled as they were both silent. Rease knew that Raven was going to end the conflict with Van once and for all with his new Berserk Furher.
Raven look at the fire and then the stars and remembered what he'd said in thier battle a day before, just before he hits Van down he says..
"To survive you had to evolve, shadow gave me this new zoid just so I could destory you..." the words creep from his mouth as he stars at Rease just under his breath, "Van must meet fate tommorrow"
Rease pretends not to hear but the sad expression on her face says she did, before she replied "The Stars look very beautiful tonite."
As Rease's head drops Raven walks over to her and puts his hand on here Shoulder just replies.
"I promise i'll return."

... the movie ends with final blows and an explosion, you don't know who survives and who dies ... but its the end of the Chaotic Century Saga.

best ending ever if you ask me.

What worries me is that, after getting involved in that religious debate, half the christians on this forum don't even believe in evolution. Does that mean they're all doomed to die????

i'm christian and i firmly believe in evolution ... but its true scientifically, every speicies that has not evolved overtime has become extinct within a natural order because they're unable to survive in thier new habitate.

climatic, natural balacing, etc... doesn't matter what it is.
The humans have even evolved over the last few thousand years as we've become smarter better postured and the last 100years becomes more equipped to solve desease and such (something i firmly believe is there to actually keep our population counts under some sort of control) we've also introduced things that are killing us and our bodies have had to adapt to the entoxicated air and such.

if those christians don't believe in evolution then hopefully god will turn around and cut off thier ability to evolve and screw them over royally

Yeah, we all evolved from the same prehistoric soup, whether your a man, or a bloomin mosquito, we're all just variations. The thing is, mankind is changing his environment too quickly for us to adjust for, so expect a dry slap from mother nature anytime soon. I thought SARS might have been the start of things, but that got nipped in the butt (unfortunate because the company I work for makes the chip in SARS virus detectors - we would have made a fortune!).

Note:
In case this turns into another religious debate, please be respectful of others opinions and think before you post.

Acctually if you follow native american beliefs, it started a few years ago, ever heard of the legend of the White Buffalo Calf. It was said a white buffalo would be born, he would change colors three times, then back to white. Then there would be seven years of war, both by man and nature, then there would be peace. Well, a while back an albino buffalo was born and it did change colors (red, yellow and brown). If there's truth to that legend it would explain alot of the troubles we've be having.
