I am using a custom audio sound file and it's not working. It is in WAV format and in the audiobank folder. It worked perfectly earlier today, but now it's not. I'm on version 1.19. Searched all over the forums and couldn't find the answer. tried every script with the word "sound" in it. I removed it and replaced it, tried putting it in different areas, and I still can't get it to work. I tried reimporting the audio file as well. If it helps, the game crashed earlier. It said that a certain file (don't remember which) could not be found. I didn't do any sort of computer maintainence and it had worked fine before. Any ideas?

check filepath when you moved it. use 22khz or 48khz setting for wave and try again, fpsc doesnt like some freq-ranges as 44khz.
better use ogg-files for your custom sounds, good compression and quality (use audacity for editing if you have no alternative, its free and a great editor).

I had a similar problem, it was bugging the crap out of me. Then I saw an .ogg file in my audiobank (bashes head on desk). Had completely forgotten about them. I quickly downloaded Audacity and it worked fine lol.

Thanks. I'll try changing the file from wav to ogg and see what happens.
