After taking a break from coding and waiting for better text input in 107X. I started on this today now that the 107 player is out for Android. Only to experience the same problems as in 1065. I find these to be pretty serious issues as proper text input was asked for a long time ago.

There are 3 bugs about this already reported on the bug board 10 days ago, still as "New":
StartTextInput() will not accept initial value
Think this command is new, but how come it's broken?
StartTextInput() still won't go into landscape mode
This was reported back in 1065.
CreateEditBox() is broken in iOS
And in Android as well. Weren't they tested at all on the platforms before release?

I believe they have fixed the issues in the 1075 patch from other posts I have read, but are getting it ready first before releasing. I am hoping it will be ok on all fronts this time and stable, so I can sort out a new install directory for it. I don't particularly enjoy that part, so want to leave it until it is all functional before I go through the process again.

Nice, will give it a download tomorrow.

Question is, do we need a new player to fix the orientation? No update available to download right now.

i think you will need a new player as the changes were in part related to settings in xcode

This has not been fixed in 1075.
