Installed V1, then V1.19 (even tried V1.18). Still showing as free version.

Same issue FernandoK posted here (locked)

This was the solution posted:

But - My code is already there. Plus, I tried the 3 other codes I have for FPS, and nothing has worked.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Go here: Did your FPSC turn into FREE?

Every time I have done an install of the beta versions of 1.19, my version turns into free as well. This is all I have to do as explained in the link.

One more point might be to explain that case matters. There's only a couple of alphabetic letters but make sure that they are either upper or lower case as shown.

Thanks man. I had seen that post as well.

The issue was that my name and code were still in the file. But the real issue ended up being a bad install.

After installing for the third time, everything worked out. Installed 1.19 - name and code vanished - added them back - all is well.

Tried to get on here and add a note to this post before there were any replies, but my post was awaiting approval. Thanks for the quick reply!!!

Out of interest, how did you get those other '3' serial codes?

I bought a copy back in 2006, and purchased another one with the Dark Basic and model set bundles about a year ago. I have two CDs here with codes, and two different codes listed in my account info.

I mentioned them because I was afraid I might need to pay to upgrade. Believe it or not, this was the first time I tried to upgrade it from V1.

He probably bought a few sales which included another copy of FPSC. I have an extra copy from the "Fire" sale (I think thats what it was called) last year.

I recently learned to sleep with my eyes open. ..... God am I tired

Some codes are blacklisted and unable to turn "FPSC free" into "FPSC".
If you have a legit code you can try to delete the ini file and then write the code when FPSC ask for it in startup.

Just call me Raxmux
