How do you make an object not recieve shadows from other objects with the "set shadow shading on" command used on them?

Is this with the in-built shadow system or using shaders?

set shadow shading on is a built in command

If I remember correctly there was an undocumented version of the Set object mask that allows a shadow mask value.

I have no Idea how it works, but here's the command:

SET OBJECT MASK Obj,CamMask,ShadowMask,CubeMask,ForeImmuneMask

In the past set object mask would exclude object from the camera.
So possibly this should exclude object being affect from the shadow's stencil object.
