Download and all the information from here: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=197247&b=18

But basically it generates an unlimited 3d levels for use in your games. And it's free...

Enjoy...

Hi WLGfx...That's awesome...I like the way you made the dungeon going up and down...what I first tried with your 3D Level Generator, was convert object to dbo and save object as dbo...Do you have any restriction about saving mesh as .x ?? That's a great job anyway...one more good stuff to keep

EDIT

I just realized that we can save .x, just making the level with a smaller number of segments

Cheers.

@chafari - Yeah, I've not tested it with stuff like Sparkys or saving it out yet. But cool, I'm made up the saving of it works so far.

Maybe a larger level but without the tessellation flag can be saved out too.

What does this mean? Does it just keep loading and deleting the same .x file when the plr get so far? I dont get it my friend.

my signature keeps being erased by a mod So this is my new signature.

If you run the example program you will see that it generates a single 3d object 'in memory' which is the level made up of rooms and corridors. The only media required is the textures unless you going to colour the floors, walls and roofs.

It has nothing to do with dbo's, or .x files, they are only used if you wish to save the generated 3d model out and edit it in a 3d program...

I can not wait to see this expanded upon WLGfx!

I hope to see more being done with this...

and I wonder if the FPSC world can make anything with this too...

FPSC should be able to use this because DBPro allows saving objects as .obj or .x files which can be edited to the hilt.

EDIT: Nottingham dungeons??? lol... More like the caves under the Wirral Peninsula... ha ha
