My game has suddenly decided to stop running and I have to do a presentation and show off my game to my class on Monday and I'm not going to be home all of Sunday so I have today and Saturday to fix this and finish this. every time I try and run the EXE a command prompt will open and nothing else happens. I cant figure out why it suddenly decided to stop working or how to fix it. can anyone help me out?? especially before Sunday..

Hi eatsNoobs

You've only uploaded the DB project file. You need to add the source file and any and all media as well.

I'm not sure if just the .dbpro file is going to be enough to determine what is wrong with it.

This is all you've got attached:

You'll probably want to attach your source as well.
(What 29 games already said. That's what I get for opening a bunch of threads and waiting 20 minutes before I get to it and respond. )

it is VERY difficult to help someone that ignores what people say...

perhaps give us some idea of what you are using... [see what I did there?]

Not sure. You're going to need to post some more information. What are the steps you are going through? Do you get an error? What does the error say? Is there media included? Is it in the correct directory? Does the game compile and run from within darkbasic? You said a "command prompt"? What does it say?

@MrValentine: (I was late again!) Nah, I don't use RSS feeds. I just control+click all the blue threads and read through all. Unfortunately, I get sidetracked easily and find myself meandering through different sites in the process.

OK so I added the pictures and sounds and music into the thing that says media and tried to build the EXE. It tells me "failed to 'CFileBuilder::addPCKToEXE'"
It used to make an EXE anyways that would open a command prompt that would do nothing but not anymore I guess. Doesn't even make the EXE.

is that enough information now? lol
