I want to know how to best release the game, may be for free

Also, if anyone wants to get involved...graphics, suggestions, music, let me know, graphics are (currently) 48*64 pixels, ...anyone helping will be credited

Can't promise you any money, as release may be free

The reason I have posted this, is..I can't edit the title of my last post, and as a "new" poster, I have limits on posting and editing :-|

ok, ty all, see attachment, sorry to attach this crap twice, but it's you who made me you and your damned rules...

Hi there....after four minutes playing I've got this error...

Quote: "Runtime Error 502 - Image does not exist at line 260"

It looks nice but I couldn`t guess why I could eat some enemyes and some not... I would have some more graphics for player to run up or down and some midi sounds will help a lot. I like the way you make scroll, but some times I don't know where I go to... I guess you will add more content before releasing your first beta...it is the best way to present our games. Good luck

Cheers.

I tried your game it loads, but the HUD and background brick (I think) is the only thing I could see.
See attached...

Specs:

I'll Retry the download and see if something was dropped in the download process and edit the post accordantly based on the outcome.

Edit: Still does not work after re-downloading and changing resolutions. I could never understand how the same program behaves so differently from computer to computer.

tested:
> xp compatability (SP2) mode.
> run as admin.
> visual themes disabled.

= nothing.

specs in sig...

@Hannibal
Do you want to release... this? It's doesn't work... or it's simply unfinished.

@chafari

@Hannibal

How is one image loaded with no controls a game? I understand you are asking for people hard work for your project,alot of people do this,but at least have more then just a picture loaded for your program.

@ Daniel

I simply believe he has not posted enough between the time he joined and now; note he said "new poster" and not "new member".

@ Hannibal

Did you compile the game with either DBP 7.62 or U7.7(latest beta).
I believe some features of the old compilers don't work correctly with new PCs. For example I could run SS2 (Stick Suicide 2) on Windows Vista and XP but not under Windows 7 even with the same hardware.

Says version 1.077

I have the idea that the pasted images may be displayed using a priority other than that which I pasted them.

If that is the case, then the game is hidden beneath the "backdrop" :-|

Not sure, but seems likely, will try to compile a new test version later

Peace

set display mode works as per pc will change to that screen dissplay.

try this at the top of your code

set display mode 1280,768,32

Also if the game is behind the back drop,then

autocam off:backdrop off

heh, maybe he was offensive somewhere?

@Hannibal
Please make a creenshot for us for comparsion. I've noticed many gameplay calculations, but it seems that they're not connected with main loop. Is game playable?
