How can I pack my media inside the app so that the user cannot access it but the app must be able to load it? I have set the exe type to media and have the media in the media browser in the left corner of DBPro but when I load it like this:

I get a runtime error when trying to run the program without media being there. How else can I prevent software users from stealing my content? And am I loading the image incorrectly? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I remember that you can rename your files from say

image.bmp

to

file00001.00001

and then when you load it into your program you rename to load as image.bmp... I am unsure right now of the convert at runtime but this might be a good trick for you if you do not want to use something like Smart packer pro which I have and it does wonders

Hope that helps

oh and there should still be a demo of SPP

Hows that for performance. How much does it slow the game down versus leaving everything unpacked in directories?
(too cheap to try the free trial)

Mage... It unpacks into virtual space (specified directory) upon launch...

DarkDISCUSSION... I have come across one issue its with Dark Occlusion at present... Other than that no issues with SPP as of yet aside from trying to figure out how to use the auto updater lol

So a 3GB game will take like 15mins to launch?

I guess that depends on your hardware... I have not tested anything big yet... maybe ill load some huge video files into a project and test that or you could try that with the demo, that way you can test your hardware... [I have SSD's XD]
