I have had my name on the list for months now and have not heard a thing or talked to anyone that actually got one.

There are two kinds of computer users. Those that use Macs and those that wish they did.

afaik it's first come first serve. It's a full blown computer for 25 bucks... demand is crazy high.

Yes. It's also capable of displaying 1080p media (which is quite a feat). It's a real computer that can run linux.

Got a few in uni so they are being pumped out. Remember though that the school demand came first and there normally large batch orders

This is a fantastic idea, it will bring computers to a lot of less fortunate people.

I will keep waiting I guess. Was not sure if they were ever released at all. I have a crazy idea about replacing the contents of a Commodore 64 with one of these. Still trying to figure out how to handle the keyboard.

Heard they ran out and still have a long waitlist. that's why I'd rather wait for the list to clear out first. I was hoping to learn how to prototype some kind of PSP clone project going on. With a slide down mini keyboard, touchscreen, controls, and such things as linux. For learning purpose that is. I'd always wanted to learn how to do it.
