I've noticed on FPSC version 1.19 that, when you create the exe and play the game, the player is able to hit ESC, and then save/load.

I would like to get rid of this feature, as I don't want save/load or checkpoints on my game in order to make the missions more challenging, does anybody know how to get rid of it?

You could use the built in menu editor to move the buttons off screen. Simple but it works.

There will still be hot keys available though... F6 and F7 or something.

Edit your fpi in languagebank\english\gamebank\GAMEFOLDER. You will need to edit the lines for load and save game. For example, to remove save and load from gameplay, do something like the following:

setuplevel.fpi

Commenting out the lines that refer to load/save, and removing the hudshow/hudunshow for load/save, is what you can do to rmove the option.

Hotkeys are defined in the setuplevel.fpi. You can disable those too, just as I outlined. Unless that has changed in v1.19 from v1.17.
